AgentFront 1.1: no CRM needed, and an app that works on your phone

AgentFront 1.1 opens AgentFront to agencies without a CRM, reworks the whole app for phones and adds an At a glance summary to Home.

The short answer

AgentFront 1.1, released on 29 September 2026, lets agencies without a CRM use AgentFront, which keeps contacts and every call's record itself. The whole web app now works in a phone's browser, with a tab bar and a phone layout for every screen. Home gains an At a glance summary of your own recent activity.

Two things limited AgentFront until this release. An agency needed a CRM that AgentFront connects to. And the app was built for a desk, while a sales agent spends much of the day in the car and at properties, and a property manager is often out on routine inspections.

AgentFront 1.1, released on 29 September 2026, removes both. It also adds a summary of the last 30 days to Home, and a set of changes to rental enquiry replies and the reply box.

Can you use AgentFront without a CRM?

Yes. From 1.1, an agency without a CRM can use AgentFront, and AgentFront keeps the contacts and every call's record itself: who rang, the recording, transcript and summary, and any appraisal that was booked.

That opens AgentFront to a new agency, or a small one that has run on a mobile, a diary and an inbox. It can have calls answered and appraisals booked from the first day, with every caller kept in one place.

Agencies with a CRM AgentFront connects to keep working inside it, as before. The integrations page sets out what AgentFront reads and writes in each tool it connects to.

Does AgentFront work on a phone?

Yes. The whole web app has been reworked for phones. There is a tab bar for moving between sections, every screen has a phone layout, onboarding included, and tablets get a layout of their own.

It is the same AgentFront, opened in the phone's browser and signed in to as usual. Nothing needs installing. An agent can read a call summary in the car after an appraisal, and a property manager can approve a draft reply between routine inspections, without waiting to get back to the office.

What does At a glance show on Home?

At a glance is a new summary on Home: four cards with your own numbers. Three cover the last 30 days (calls handled, email enquiries, and appraisals booked, or tasks completed for property managers), and the fourth shows the tasks open right now. Each card opens the list behind it.

It gives each person a read on their own month without building a report or exporting anything.

What changed in rental enquiry replies?

Replies now state the available-from date, the lease term and whether pets are allowed when the listing advertises them. An enquirer who wants to know when they could move in, or whether they can bring the dog, gets the answer in the first reply if the listing has it.

Unsent drafts that no one has edited are rewritten once an advertised open home has passed. A reply drafted on Friday and approved on Monday doesn't invite the enquirer to Saturday's inspection.

The reply box has changed too:

  • It can go full screen, for longer replies.
  • Cc sits in its action bar.
  • Attachments show as chips.

For the wider question of what a good reply contains, see our guide on how to reply to a rental enquiry.

What changed in Settings, invitations and onboarding?

Settings and team invitations were rebuilt. An admin can now change an invitee's role before that person joins, rather than fixing it afterwards.

Onboarding was redesigned for both desktop and phone. It includes a box to hand the setup steps to your IT person, for agencies where someone else looks after the email and calendar accounts.

What else has changed since our last update?

These went out at the end of July, after our July update:

  • The task, call and email screens were redesigned.
  • The reply box stays open, docked under the last message in the thread.
  • If a reply says something is attached and nothing is, you get a warning before it sends.
  • Threads can be filtered by property.
  • Whoever a task is assigned to can get an email about it.
  • On calls, the Phone Assistant says plainly when a home has no open home scheduled.
  • A caller who rings as a buyer but wants an appraisal is handled as a seller, and offered an appraisal time.

Common questions

Do I need a CRM to use AgentFront?

No. Since AgentFront 1.1, agencies without a CRM can use it, and AgentFront keeps the contacts and every call's record itself. Agencies with a CRM AgentFront connects to keep working inside it.

How do I use AgentFront on my phone?

Open AgentFront in your phone's browser and sign in. Since 1.1 every screen has a phone layout, with a tab bar for moving between sections, and tablets have a layout of their own.

What does the At a glance summary on Home show?

Four cards with your own numbers: calls handled, email enquiries and appraisals booked over the last 30 days (tasks completed, for property managers), and the tasks open right now. Each card opens the list behind it.

Will a draft reply invite someone to an open home that has already happened?

Not if the draft is untouched. Unsent drafts that no one has edited are rewritten once an advertised open home has passed, so the reply matches the listing as it stands.

Can I change a team member's role before they accept an invitation?

Yes. Since AgentFront 1.1, an invitee's role can be changed before they join.
