Introducing AgentFront: phone and email assistants for agencies

AgentFront answers the calls your agents forward, agrees appraisal times from their calendar and drafts replies to rental enquiries. Here is what it does.

The short answer

AgentFront is a set of AI assistants for Australian real estate agencies. The Phone Assistant answers calls agents forward to it, answers listing questions from realestate.com.au and agrees appraisal times from the agent's calendar. The Rental Enquiry Email Assistant drafts replies to new rental enquiries in Gmail, and a read-only internal line answers the team's own questions.

A seller rings their local agent at 5.40pm on a Wednesday. The agent is halfway through an open home, the phone rings out and the call goes to voicemail. The seller doesn't leave a message. When the agent checks later, there is a missed call from an unknown number and no way of knowing it was a potential listing.

The rental inbox has the same problem in a different shape. Enquiries about a three-bedroom townhouse arrive overnight and across the weekend, and each one waits until a property manager can open it, check the listing and type a reply. AgentFront went into production on 1 July 2026 to take that work off the team.

What is AgentFront?

AgentFront is a set of AI assistants for Australian real estate agencies. There are three: a Phone Assistant that answers the calls your agents can't take, a Rental Enquiry Email Assistant that replies to new rental enquiries, and an Internal Phone Assistant your own team can ring for answers.

It was built inside Touch Residential in Griffin, North Brisbane, by the agency's CTO. The agency tested the tools on the market for answering calls and enquiries, found none that was fast or accurate enough for its own sellers and tenants, and built its own.

How do calls reach the Phone Assistant?

Each agent gets an AgentFront number and forwards calls to it, usually when they don't answer, when the line is busy, or after hours. Forwarding is set on the agent's own phone, so a person still answers when a person can, and the agent can switch it off at any time.

What happens during a call?

The assistant answers in a natural Australian voice, and agencies choose between two: Grace and Paul. It works out who is calling. Sellers, buyers, landlords and investors, buyer's agents, solicitors and brokers, and personal or business callers each get a conversation suited to why they rang.

Listing questions are answered from what is publicly listed on realestate.com.au, and nothing else. If a caller asks something the listing doesn't cover, the assistant says the team will follow up and creates a task. It never reads your private notes to a caller. If a caller asks for the listing details by text, it sends them once the call ends.

For a seller, the assistant checks the agent's Google Calendar and offers appraisal times within the next fortnight. The times allow for the agent's working hours, appointment length and travel buffers, so the seller is only offered times that work. The seller agrees a time on the call.

What happens after the call?

Once the call ends, AgentFront writes the confirmed appraisal into the agent's calendar and updates the agency's records. In your CRM it creates or updates the contact, adds a note of the call and creates the property record where one is needed.

Anything the assistant could not do on the call becomes a task for the team. The agent gets a text alert when something needs them, such as a newly booked appraisal.

Every call is recorded, with a transcript and a summary saved in AgentFront. Before ringing back, the agent can see who called, what they wanted and what has already been done. The Phone Assistant page covers the call handling in more detail.

What does the Rental Enquiry Email Assistant do?

It replies to new enquiries from prospective tenants about your listed rentals, in a connected Gmail inbox. Each reply follows the listing's current status and states only what the realestate.com.au listing says. It sits in the same thread as the enquiry and goes from a real person's address, with their own Gmail signature.

Replies wait as drafts for someone on the team to approve, unless the agency turns on auto-reply. Anything unusual or sensitive is marked Needs review and left for a person.

The email assistant has firm limits. It does not book private inspections: it tells the enquirer the team will follow up and creates a task. It does not handle maintenance, trades, owner approvals or requests from existing tenants. The Rental Enquiry Email Assistant page sets out what it answers and what it leaves for your team.

What is the Internal Phone Assistant?

It is a read-only phone line for the agency's own team. An agent driving between appraisals can ring it and ask about a listing, a contact, their calendar or a recent call, and get an answer without opening a laptop. It can look things up, but it cannot change anything.

What does an agency need to start?

Four things: its listings on realestate.com.au, Gmail, Google Calendar, and a CRM AgentFront connects to. Setup is guided. The agency connects its tools, configures the assistant, and then each agent forwards their calls to their AgentFront number.

The integrations page lists exactly what AgentFront reads and writes in each tool. Nothing is written to realestate.com.au, and callers only ever hear what the public listing says.

Common questions

Does AgentFront answer every call to an agent's phone?

No. It answers only the calls an agent forwards to their AgentFront number, usually on no answer, busy or after hours. Forwarding is set on the agent's own phone and can be switched off at any time.

Will AgentFront make up details about a property?

It's built not to. Callers and enquirers only hear what is publicly listed on realestate.com.au. If the listing doesn't cover a question, the assistant says the team will follow up and a task is created so someone does.

Can AgentFront book an appraisal while the seller is still on the phone?

Yes. It offers times from the agent's Google Calendar within the next fortnight, allowing for working hours, appointment length and buffers, and the seller agrees one on the call. The event is written to the calendar once the call ends.

Does the email assistant send replies without anyone checking them?

Only if the agency turns on auto-reply. Otherwise every reply waits as a draft for a person to approve, and anything unusual or sensitive is marked Needs review.
